"Acticomp" took part in the All-Russian GMP conference
At the end of September, the VIII All-Russian GMP Conference, a key event in the field of good practices, completed its work in Yekaterinburg. Employees of the Acticomp also took part in it: Advisor to the General Director on Quality Issues Lyubov Tkachenko, Quality Director Natalya Soboleva and Head of the Product Development and Registration Department Marina Pishke.
In total, 800 people took part in the conference, of which about 600 guests who came from different parts of Russia visited the site in person. Online listeners from around the world also watched the discussions.
Over the course of three days, the most pressing issues of quality assurance in the production of medicines were discussed at the event. Thus, the business program of the conference was opened by a plenary session, the main topics of which were the regulation of the circulation of medicines in Russia and in the Eurasian Economic Union, ensuring the drug safety of citizens, developing import independence and increasing export potential.
The conference also discussed a scientifically based approach to the production of medicines, production licensing, features of ensuring compliance with the requirements of GMP rules, pharmaceutical engineering, typical inconsistencies during pharmaceutical inspections, etc.
Industry representatives noted the practice-oriented nature of the event and also supported the initiatives put forward by experts. In particular, the creation of an Association of Authorized Persons, as well as a simulation center that will help meet the needs of pharmaceutical enterprises for highly qualified personnel.
Every year, the GMP conference is held in different cities, which allows industry representatives to get acquainted with both the pharmaceutical industry of the regions and the rich culture of Russia.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the State Institute of Medicines and Good Practices.
